Overview

Tesamorelin is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing hormone analog studied for its effects on visceral adipose tissue, body composition, lipid metabolism, and liver fat in HIV-associated lipodystrophy and NAFLD research.

Mechanism of Action

Tesamorelin stimulates GHRH receptors in the pituitary, increasing endogenous growth hormone release and IGF-1 signaling. Research suggests this may promote lipolysis, reduce visceral fat, and influence hepatic fat metabolism
